David has several years experience and is extremely skilled in swedish massage, sports massage, and deep tissue massage. He is the perfect compliment to a well rounded training and wellness program. He also specializes in helping people recover from car accidents and sports injuries. His passion is using calm, healing energy and strength to bring people back into a healthy balance. He is one of my best resources in Portland and someone I will be visiting often during certain parts of my own training.

The biggest and best multisport shop in the Pacific NW. Named one of the top 10 triathlon retailers in the US by Triathlon America. They have a big selection of merchandise at different price points (while striving to offer top quality at any price), and have become what I would call a friendly community center for athletes of all levels from beginner to professional. No matter where you live you should check out there web site for cycling, swimming, and running equipment. From bike fitting to running shoes and wetsuits. If you need it they have it. High tech to nutrition. And keep up with their group workouts and workshops. I just attended a bicycle maintenance workshop there that was really fun and full of great info. And they run one heck of a race, my favorite, the Portland Triathlon.

Devn was my physical therapist after I got hit by a car on my motorcycle in Oct of 2012. Devn and his awesome colleagues at Theraputic Associates SW Portland Physical Therapy are a great recourse for injuries large and small. I highly recommend Devn if you have any kind of issues that pop up while training, competing, or just trying to live without pain and nagging physical issues.
Devn graduated from the University of Montana: School of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Sciences with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy in May 2008. Prior to this, he earned an undergraduate degree in Biology at Washington State University in 1998.
Devn enjoys working with all types of patients and a variety of musculoskeletal disorders. Since graduation, he has been actively pursuing post graduate training in his manual therapy skills through the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT). He has a special interest in sports-related conditions, motor-vehicle accident injuries, workers compensation, overuse injuries and other disorders of the spine and peripheral joints. His professional goals over the next 5 years include acquisition of OCS certification and becoming a FFF certified fly casting instructor.
Cránk was started in 2010 as a homegrown Portland bike shop by Chris and Justin. Starting off doing fittings and customization in a 250 square foot space sub-let from a micro gym, they have grown their dream into a full service shop in their own neighborhood. With the vision of helping all riders, from commuters to racers, they have dedicated themselves to constantly growing and improving the world of cycling here in Portland. You can walk in there any time with any problem large or small and they will offer you kindness, cookies, and coffee, with a friendly smile, and a local, earth friendly, community loving attitude you will not find anywhere else. I’ve looked. Their bike fitting is affordable and professional and I highly recommend it. So glad I know this place exists. They have a great selection of affordable high quality two wheel rides weather you are looking to race on the road or bike track, or want a great looking cruiser/ commuter to roll around town on. Remember to buy a lock, some blinky lights, fenders, and some lube while you are there. It’ll cost less than those other shops.
