No Person has the right to be an amateur in the matter of physical training. What a disgrace it is for a man to grow old without ever seeing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable.- Soctrates
That which you challenge, you improve. There are certain sequences of physical challenges you can follow to help you reach your goals most effectively. There are countless ways to apply the Optimal Performance Training Model to your training and most coaches and trainers have drastically different approaches to this subject. My approach is to build a base of core strength starting with your deepest core muscles that are often neglected in most training programs and then take you through a build up of stability, strength, power, and speed that is appropriate for your ability and in line with your goals.
Remember it’s not the workout that makes you stronger. It’s the recovery from that workout where you actually build strength. At Smith Haus Training we will train you to recover actively and effectively with nutrition, circulation, movement, and proper rest so you can learn to utilize your natural stress adaptation curve to help you stay healthy, train smarter, train and race harder.
